Laurie Strode & Michael Myers Meet Again in 'Halloween' (2018)

Halloween is a 2018 American slasher film directed by David Gordon Green. It is the eleventh installment in the Halloween film series, and a direct sequel to the 1978 film of the same name, while retconning the continuity of the previous sequels.

FILM SYNOPSIS:

It's been 40 years since Laurie Strode survived a vicious attack from crazed killer Michael Myers on Halloween night. Locked up in an institution, Myers manage to escape when his bus transfer goes horribly wrong. Laurie now faces a terrifying showdown when the masked madman returns to Haddonfield, lll. - but this time, she's ready for him.

Who is Laurie Strode?

First appears in the Halloween. The 17-year-old Laurie has plans to babysit Tommy Doyle on Halloween night, 1978.

However, throughout the day she keeps seeing a mysterious masked man watching her wherever she goes; unbeknownst to her, he is Michael Myers, an escaped mental patient who murdered his sister, Judith Myers, 15 years ago and has begun stalking her.

Laurie is also unaware that she is Myers' sister.

Masked serial killer. He first appears in John Carpenter's Halloween as a young boy who murder his sister, Judith Myers, and then, fifteen years later, returns home to Haddonfield to murder more teenagers.


What makes Michael Myers so Iconic?

He is the first masked serial killer in the movie. He's got an incredible calm when he attacks his victims and his mask is so frightening and it's become a kind of Iconic Nightmare.


Jamie Lee Curtis and Nick Castle reprise their roles as Strode and Myers. James Jude Courtney also portraying Myers.
The film also stars Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, and Virginia Gardner.
